Step 1-Initial approval
You will submit all required documents to the DED and get approval for making changes in your business license in Dubai.
Step 2- Application
Once you have approval, you will download a BR1 form, fill it out and then the managing director of the company will sign it. You also need to mention names of all the partners on this document. Once you fill out this form, submit it.
Step 3- NOC and agreement attestation
Next step is to draft an NOC certificate and draft an agreement. You need a legal translator who writes an addendum for your agreement. In case your agreement is in Arabic, you won’t need a legal translator for it. Next you need to attest this agreement by DED and Notary Public.
Step 4- Attend at notary
All your business partners need to sign a court agreement at the Notary. This agreement clears that you need to make some changes in your license. All the partners must be there. However, if a partner is outside the country, that partner needs to assign a Power of Attorney to any other partner for representation in the court.
Step 5- Document submission
As you have attested agreement, amendment in the MOA about your business activities, submit required documents and pay the charges for license amendment to the DED. Once your application is processed, your new business license will have a new activity you added.
